Aww thank you C:
Cool. Several of my friends are librarians. A couple work at the local university, the others work for the county.
I hope it’s a good career choice for me ^^; I’ll have to move to Vancouver and live on my own for the first time, so it’s super terrifying!
Well, best of luck. What are you studying at grad school? (or does grad school not require a major?)
Library/Information Studies :)
But enough about me. Are you looking forward to your new job?
Hmm, yes and no. Yes because I really need to make money for grad school, but this is also my first full-time/grownup job EVER and I’m sure everyone there is going to be like, fancy lawyers or people who work with fancy lawyers and I’m just gonna be like “derp”
That’s fair. Even if I’m getting something shipped to me, I can’t pick it up at work. I have to wait for some other dude to take it to my house!
I work for a Ubiquitous Package Shipper, loading and unloading cargo jets. It’s rough at times, but it pays well and the benefits are decent.
Yeesh. I never liked UPS, personally. They seem to make a point of trying to deliver stuff at the precise moment I go to the bathroom or something XD
Hey at least your job is indoors. I gotta work outside all year. Congrats, BTW.
oh? where do you work?
Nothing! T.T the entire internet is like, dead. I start my new job on monday so I’m trying to ~live it up~ until then but nothing interesting is happening, ever.
Please tell me they at least ship him with Neil deGrasse Tyson. It can’t be any worse than Lynne Rossetto Kasper/Rick…
